Lucia is a published playwright with a Masters in Creative Writing and several BBC Learning pieces under her belt. She completed a shot screenwriting course at the NFTS in 2021 and is writing her debut novel, Measure the Wounds.

D I R E C T I N G

Lucia worked as a director for her independent theatre company, House of Orphans and directed immersive shows, fringe shows and productions performing at The Lowry, Bolton Octagon, the Royal Exchange and in 2015, the world premiere of Anthony Burgess’s One Hand Clapping in New York which was translated and performed in Budapest in 2019.

Lucia directed a new piece for The Twilight Hour Season 3, Just the Three of Us by Jon Platt at Canal Cafe Theatre in 2019. It starred Barney White.

Lucia directed the show, Ladybones for the Vaults Festival and Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 It toured Venues North in 2020 and was recorded for Audible, directed by Lucia.

She recently completed a short directing course at CityLit in London with tutor and director, Laura Baggaley (2023).

P R O D U C I N G

Lucia has produced over twenty productions over the last 10 years. She has produced work which has performed in New York, London and Manchester. Notable venues are 59E59 Theaters in New York, The Lowry, Bolton Octagon, Library Theatre, Hope MIll and the Royal Exchange in Manchester and the Cockpit in London.

She worked for STOMP and Glynis Henderson Productions for two years as coordinator on the international and West End productions as well as shows at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018.

Lucia worked for Iris Theatre based at The Actors Church in Covent Garden, London and was producer on the Free Open Air Season 2019 which runs each year at The Scoop, Southwark, London throughout August.

In 2019, Lucia co-produced Reformation by James Martin Charlton at The White Bear in Kennington and The Mozart Question by Michale Morpurgo at Camden Fringe. From 2021-23, Lucia worked for the Donmar Warehouse, Crossroads Live UK and The Big House in London.
